Baby & Me (6 - 35 months)

This is a fun and safe class in a warm water environment for caregiver and child. This class introduces baby to kicking, bubble blowing, and submerging underwater.


Babies, who are already submerging, enjoy special, bonding time with caregiver. Through songs and games, little ones learn to swim 3 feet independently, back floating, independently get out of the pool, and ten second underwater breath control.





Aquababies (18 - 35 months)

A special class for 2 year olds" who have completed the Baby & Me curriculum AND demonstrate breath control, strength, and independence in the water.


Admission to this class is by referral from Baby & Me teachers only. Its goal is to increase swimming distance to 7 feet and begin the process of obtaining an independent breath in the water. Parents stay on deck throughout this course.





Aquatike 1

A program designed specifically for three year olds with little or no water experience. Themes and games enhance the learning to swim experience.


The goal of this class is to swim 7 feet in the water using a Reach & Pull stroke and gain comfort in the water.






Aquatike 2

This class is for three year olds who already swim 7 feet.


These children learn to swim 10 feet with Windmill arms, get a front breath with assistance, and use both their arms and legs in a forward motion.







Aquatike 3

This class is for three year olds who already swim 10 feet.


These children increase their swimming distance to 20 feet, get a front breath with assistance then resume swimming to their destination.







Preschool Beginner

A class created for preschoolers ages 4 to 5 who cannot swim.


The goals are for these children learn to swim 10 feet, getting a breath with assistance.


They will also learn to back float independently.







Advanced Preschool Beginner

This class is for 4 to 5 year olds whom have completed the goals and skills of the Preschool Beginners.


The final goal of these swimmers are to swim a minimum of 20 feet, getting an assisted front breath and resume swimming to the destination.







Beginner 1

A class for children 6+ who do not swim.


Swimmers learn a relaxed, effective stroke for swimming 25 feet at their natural buoyancy level.


They also learn the back float, an important safety skill.







Beginner 2

A class for children 4+ who already swim 25 feet.


The goal of this class is to teach the student to swim about 25 feet getting independent breaths. They also learn kneeling dives.








Beginner 3

A class for children 4+ who already swim the 50 feet.


The goal of this class is to teach the swimmer to perform rollover breathing while swimming the length of our pool.


Standing dives are an added skill.








Intermediate 1

A class for children 6+ who can already swim 40 feet using Windmill Arms


The goal of this class is to teach students to swim 80 feet using the Freestyle stroke, and to dive in and swim across the pool.







Intermediate 2

A class for children 6+ who are already efficiently swimming 80 feet (2 lengths of the pool).


At the end of this class students should be swimming both freestyle with bilateral breathing and elementary backstroke 80 feet and be able to tread for 2 minutes.








Advanced 1

A class for children 7+ who already swimming both freestyle with bilateral breathing and elementary backstroke.


The goals for this class are competitive free, back, and breaststroke 80 feet.








Advanced 2

A class for children 7+ who are currently performing competitive free, back, and breastroke.


The goal for this class is swimming the competitive butterfly stroke 80 feet.
