WHO WE ARE:

located in Scuba Center, a PADI Five Star Instructor Development Center and Five Star Dive Center, that has been serving East Texas divers for 40 years.  Our instructional staff of PADI swim instructors have many years of combined teaching experience.  Our sales and service personnel (with over 40 years Experience) is dedicated and proudly offer the finest quality swim, dive and snorkeling equipment.  We have East Texas' largest selection.

STARFISH AQUATICS INSTITUTE

 

We have classes from Infant (ages 6months and up) to Adult Advanced Classes.

 

STAR BABY: under 3 years "Baby and Me" style class. With a parent in the water help teach your baby to Hold their breath, float on their back, kick, get independent forward movement, hold on to the wall, climb out of the pool and more.

 

STAR TOTS: 3-4 years Watch as your child learns from an instructor all the skills of the Baby and Me class, back kicks and swimming short distances with rollover breathing.

 

BEGINNER 1: 5+ years Children learn streamline position, floating, proper arm and leg movement and start to master fundamentals

BEGINNER 2: Advance moving further, swimming independently without floations, independent breathing, conquer deep water,  and build your child's confidence.

BEGINNER 3: Build your child's Endurance and Technique so they can progress to be a competent recreational swimmer or join swim team!
